I've got news for the uneducated PC crowd: Since the former Confederate states were re-admitted to the union, Confederate history became a part of U.S. history. Whether they like it or not, or me for that matter, thirteen of the fifty stars on the U.S. flag are for former Confederate states. Think about that the next time it is saluted. Furthermore, by a joint resolution of the U.S. Congress, it was declared that all Confederate veterans are to be recognized as being U.S. veterans and entitled to recognition as such. It is called reconciliation.
