What will likely happen is requiring you to have a vet administer Ivermectin. It has only been a few years since you could get pretty much the same antibiotics over-the-counter, for your animals, that would require you to get a script for if you were using them on yourself. The Feds put the kibosh on that much to the cheers of vets who now have the say-so on everything making you go to them and screwing you on the meds as well as an office call. Rabies shots used to be available for almost nothing mail-order. Now you have to go to a vet. This is what will happen with Ivermectin.
I agree completely. There's a reason the American Pharmacists Association has their lobbying headquarters right on the national mall in Washington DC.
