I’ve played physicians off of each other. Ask three the same thing, get three different answers.

I’ve had up to 5 nephrologists and surgical transplant nephrologists working with me at the same time.
The guys with their ‘hands in the goo’ actually impressed me more AND went along with MY recommendations to change my anti rejection meds to a different family of immunosuppressive agents based on my research and personal observations. Saved myself a lot of problems. Including further bone marrow injury.

Also played this with 2 cardiologists against each other.

I got a good people now after a chewing thru dozens of dead wood.

Spend about 5 hours a week reading white papers, medical studies, reviews and outcomes, plus patient forums, just gleaning person observations. I also spend about 3 hours a week dealing with insurance, billing personnel, and third parties.
