I understand what you mean. I've talked to a few guys in the past that like them, for what they are, and they sure do look good, in my view!
Cost wise, naturally, their less $ than the older, more traditional Vintage Winchesters, as you already know.
It's just a matter of what you want. Look at the wood to metal fit in the example pic above, that bothers me.
Yeah it might not effect shooting performance, but I just rather spend more for a better fit, and possibly a better made Rifle! JMO!
Again, the new Rifles are attractive, other wise they wouldn't sell!
If your not sure, wait on it, and think it out! Sleep on it! JMO!
