A brick of 22's were $4.99 at Kmart in the 70's and a Marlin Glenfield model 60 22lr cost $49.99 with scope and rings. Still have the rifle.

I remember those 49.99 Glenfield 60's and 44.99 Glenfield 20's. I didn't care for those and paid 59.95 for my Marlin 989M2 in 1976. Still have the rifle and the receipt.
