My hunting buddies and I used the SSTs in Mass. when they first came out. Most of us used them in H&R 20ga. slug guns. I've taken several deer with them. However, after a couple of seasons passed we were getting rounds that failed to go off even though the primers showed good hammer strikes.
We all liked the Remington Accutips. After they became almost impossible to find, I replaced them with the Winchester Partition Golds.
