I guess I have the edited down edition. He said he'd gotten complaints that this book had to much detail.... this edition is only 30 something hours
The young woman pretending to be a store manikin who then snapped when Nick showed her the note saying "We don't need you"... was a perfect illustration of a woman with a borderline personality disorder. King is a jerk but he sure could do character development.
