Looking at the scope mount bases in this Penrod rifle, more carefully, they seems to be the second version of the Warne Premier. Without the elevated front stops like in my M 70. The rings of that second serie of the Warne Premier system had a stud machined in one of the half of the ring that enter the slot in the bases. I also have one set of those rings. Good design, to my taste. All machined steel.
