And Yes, I agree that the mission of the progressive socialists is to dismantle the Free Market, punish the productive, and force corporations and workers into the government collective.
Covid just gave them all the excuses they needed to empower their mission. Unfortunately, it appears that Corporate American is now marching in lockstep for fear of being boycotted/cancelled.
Corporations love Big Government. Provides the control and regulation which helps guarantee their profits and squeeze out competition & new players. Corporations also get to jettison expensive health plans and retirement plans and put those costs on the backs of taxpayers.
