Some years back I had a NIB early 1980's vintage 99E in 250-3000 with 99C wood that was probably one of those "factory parts guns" from the mid-1980's. I bought in in 1988 from Arthur Corey's gun shop in Littleton, NH.
I think we've seen a few of those very late 99E's in 99C wood. Not many, and not in 250 that I remember.
Ive got a late,83’ i think 99E in 250 savage, with round counter.
Was the E offered in 250 throughout its production? I hardly ever see them usually always 300,308,243.
99E Version 2 was catalogued and produced in 250-3000 in Styles 1 & 2 (1960 only with 24" barrel and extremely uncommon) and Style 8 (1982-1984 with 22" barrel).
