I think we've seen a few of those very late 99E's in 99C wood. Not many, and not in 250 that I remember.

Was the E offered in 250 throughout its production? I hardly ever see them usually always 300,308,243.

99E Version 2 was catalogued and produced in 250-3000 in Styles 1 & 2 (1960 only with 24" barrel and extremely uncommon) and Style 8 (1982-1984 with 22" barrel).
