These Roosevelts are pretty big bodied. This is a pretty good bull for the area they hunt. Not many elk in the area and you usually only see somewhere between 6 - 14 in a group. They both work for Washington DNR so they are out and about quite a bit and keep tabs on the elk. And the timber in this area is really thick. Once they get into it they are usually gone. But this one got split from his cows and he wanted them back. 2 shots from a .50 knight Bighorn put it down.
