They don't want to destroy us....we supply their materials and buy their junk.
That's like burning down your bank and hitting your own hand with a hammer.
I agree. China doesn't want to destroy us, they want to control us. They want to demonstrate they CAN destroy us if and when they choose. That will make us more compliant. But they still want to be able to exploit our markets and profit from our technology.
