Get you a good harness. Not the ones that come with the stand, but go buy a good one. I use a Hunter Safety System that's got some pockets on it, but it's not the full vest. It's just like putting on a shirt, no trying to figure out 'which way is up'.

I fell out of a tree stand, wasn't wearing a harness, and it's no fun. frown


I have 6-7 of the harnesses that came with stands. They suck.

I agree with the "buy a good harness" recommendation. One with good, low profile attachments that you can adjust once, then just click in makes it easy and fast, which makes it harder to rationalize not using it.

I don't even go in ladder stand without one.
