Wet roads after a couple of weeks of no rain, and as I said, I seem to recall a jiggle or jerk in the steering as I lost control? Hit an oil spot? Tie rod issue? Tire?

Not going to be able find much after riding over the rocks and then flipping.

I had already negotiated miles of twisty mountain road at the speeds I usually drive before I hit that spot, with no evidence of the tires slipping and sliding. The front tires I expected to get me through another winter of light use, they are the studless snow tires with lots of siping and walnut shell incorporated into the tread. Left rear tire was a bit worn on the outer edge and I was thinking if Schwabies had the same tires I'd get two new ones to replace that and the most worn of the other three.

It was basically a WTF type of moment.
