Good question.
It appears to be a cut down Model 1904 or 1905 .22 made into a custom pistol.
It is very nicely done but I doubt anything that came from the factory. Continue to research.
Savage did do some proto-type sorts of pistols, just not sure if this is one of them.
It has a Lincoln penny mounted on the bottom of the grip dated 1910.
And it functions!
