I have the original LCP as well.
Have had it since the first year they came out.
It is a "carry when you can't carry a gun at all" gun.
I thought about the 10 shot LCP, but I like my gun so well that I just bought a couple of the Ruger 7 round LCP mags and called it good.
That gives me 7+1 on board.

As for Kahr guns, I've had several of the 9mm guns, and they are excellent carry guns, but the PM9 or CM9 will still be much larger and heavier than a LCP.
A couple of years ago I decided I wanted a gun that was a little nicer than the LCP as my everyday gun.
Even though I knew that the Kahr .380 guns had a much spottier reputation than the 9mm guns, I decided to try one.

Mine would seldom feed more than one magazine without a failure to feed or eject.
After two trips to the factory, I sold it at a loss.
.380 ammo was already getting scarce because of the riots.
If I could have tried a dozen different brands maybe I could have found something that the little Kahr liked, but since my ammo supply was limited I let it go.
The fact that it would not feed fmj ammo was a bad sign.

My LCP has fired everything, except Wolf steel cased .380s.
It's a keeper.
