How many even realize that military service is often a
box to check for the elite political class.
A stepping stone to a political career.
There are those who put it all into their service.
And those who do it for what they can take.
Never served.
But I've known some from both categories.
Even some draftees that freely admit they did what they were forced to do.
People get a little hung up on military service.
They are a cross section of America.
From the best and the brightest,
to no darn good.
