What's the yardstick of "best?" Film critics don't know s-h-i-t about movie quality.

There are two things I like ... sci fi and western. I don't care for "art" films or mushy shyte.

For me, probably the most powerful was the original Star Wars.

On the western side, Quigley Down Under, Unforgiven, and Jeremiah Johnson. Throw in Blazing Saddles and Wagons East for some laughs.

Another I really liked was The Postman. The book by David Brin is even better. The story in the book occurs on my home turf, the rock quarry setting was a couple miles from my house. He clearly did a lot of research on the book's setting and got it right.


Anyone who thinks there's two sides to everything hasn't met a M�bius strip.
