Casablanca……
No special effects, black and white, no car ( space ship ) chase, etc. just good dialogue and good acting, not to mention Bogart…..
My Dad was in North Africa with the 82nd AB in WW2. When they got to Morocco they went to Casablanca looking for "Rick's Cafe' Americain". They were sure it was a real place. Of course in today's world, somebody would open one up in a week after the movie became a big hit, and declare it authentic.
