Just got home from spending some time in NC with friends. Hunted a deer lease that’s overrun with bears. Got this guy. 335lbs. My buddy got a 198lber.
.50 Beowulf. Shot it when he stood up on his hind legs to smell the air. Total pass thru and he went 10yards. We did recover the bullet from the smaller bear. He shot it in the neck. It traversed the bidy and ended up in the back leg. 3’ of bear and perfect performance. It was a fun trip and taking home some meat for the freezer always makes things better.
