It's just as cheap to build a 6x6 or 7x7.
Get you a chair and a few 2x4s and layout the size you want, and you'll see bigger is better.
I don’t know that I agree with that. Current blind is 4x6. I sometimes wish I had a little more room in the 4’ direction but almost always wish it was shorter in the long direction. My next one will likely be 5x5.
