Imagine the LCP Max in this caliber. Likely 13 rounds in a flush mag.
That’s the direction I see them going, but perhaps not quite that small…but who knows? No doubt the engineers see this cartridge as an opportunity to make a pistol smaller and lighter. The market seems very focused on the weight, dimensional spec’s, and capacity of carry guns these days. So I see this as a way to win the spec’s game while maintaining an acceptable power level, and perhaps increasing magazine capacity…Or at least that’s where my brain goes.
Or in more simple terms... Let's make a new thing we can sell.
