I’m in the process of rigging up my reels and am new to the game. Usually all my saltwater fishing the gear is supplied. I decided to take the plunge and go the hollow core route. Currently 80lb line before I get to far should I go with just mono top shot or should I plan on attaching a fluorocarbon leader to the mono. The main fishing I plan on doing or the first trip I will be making is in Panama chasing tuna roosters cuberas and mahi. I’m debating just using mono top shot, or if it’s necessary to use a fluorocarbon leader
