they go like this: in order of good to bad.

Honorable
General (under honorable circumstances)
OTH (undesirable)
Bad Conduct (Big Chicken Dinner)
Dishonorable

and the VA will make a determination if you have anything besides Honorable or Dishonorable. if you have something is the middle you can request a determination, the VA decides.
