That dog appeared to be greeting the cops. The tail was wagging. From what I can see in the video, the shooting is a real bad look. Particularly that he fired 6 or 7 or more shots.
I can't ascertain the dog's breed or any other details, but read that it's a pitbull and that they're illegal where the incident took place. I'll admit to being strongly prejudiced against the breed.
I have black labs. I'd hope a cop coming here would know the difference.
The Wagging Tail Barometer seems to be unreliable with this breed.
