I had a 2011 3.5 and a 2014 5.0. I really like the ride, features and comfort of Ford trucks. Neither truck was what I would call reliable. Both trucks were well maintained and not abused. The 2011 was sold with 65,000 miles and one transmission replacement and the last 10,000 miles spending more time in the shop than out for various engine issue. The 2014 went away at about 70,000 as its second transmission was going out and with various engine and cooling issues. While neither was reliable in my short ownership, I would put my money on the 5.0 if I had to do it.
