I had a 35W chamber cut with a SAAMI reamer. It had a very long throat and a very “generous” neck diameter. I would have been happier with a more modern throat which is 1.5 degree into the lands and a tighter neck diameter.

The 9.3’s usually use the original specs which have a very long throat. Don’t know about neck diameter. But they have a reputation for shooting well. If you use an action with a 3.6” box then I would use the original and seat the bullets out.

Many here will tell you to just stick with the old dimensions. I am undecided.
