That is a Brown Precision. The rifle was built by Ken Gennecco of Stockton Ca for me in 1985 when there weren't a lot of options for lightweight hunting rifles. It weighed 7lbs 2oz with sling and 2-7 Leupold Compact when it was built. With the 2.5-8 and several coats of paint it has, like me, put on a few oz since then.

You mean to tell me that there is actually someone on here that put together an "all around rifle" and has stuck with it for 35+ years?! Can't be......

Couple years back I got a T3X in 30-06 and put a Loopy 2.5-8 on it for the same purpose. Looks to be in good company.
