Rene, hopefully this is just a speed bump on the way to recovery. Docs should be able to get his K adjusted - my dad went through something similar. It's damned serious stuff, but if he's in step-down, I take that as a good sign. I've said it before, kidneys are the best filter in the world and you only need 1. Knee-mail on the way from Michigan none-the-less.
