It’s been many years since I’ve been involved with Mayhaws. I gathered a 48 quart cooler full, using a bateau , a long cane pole (thrashing the limbs), and scooping them from the water with a large minnow net! My ex-wife made the jelly. I think that she just cooked them down, put them into a course woven pillow case , and squeezed the juice into a large pot. Then did a normal canning process.
