I have a product called a "dope thing" from Tab gear. It mounts to your rifle sling and comes with cards you can write dope on. I actually print my dope with the computer and tape it to the cards. This holds the dope in a good place for viewing when you are prone without coming off the rifle, as opposed to dope taped to the side of the stock. The other nice thing about this system is I can use different cards for different DA's. Easy to swap out based on conditions.

That way its not on my shoulder when the rifle is slung, and i can grab it and look at the data with my left hand when I'm prone without coming off the gun.
