I played around with Barnes 200TTSX in a Remington 760 35 Remington. 42.0grs of imr-8208xbr equaled 2240fps from a 18" carbine length barrel. Such experiments ceased when components weren't available. I thought it was a cool load but didn't take it hunting. No pressure signs were evident. This would be a load for strong actions only. Probably more than I'd stick in a Marlin lever action.
I can't imagine that bullet will expand much as that velocity. That bullet most definitely was not designed for the 35 Remington.
