I have heard the new owners of GB were going to institute some new measures to limit the influence on the site of scammers and bots . I would assume that is part of this security step . I know they were getting a pretty bad reputation about scammers for a while now and I was pretty hesitant to do business on the GB site over some sketchy stuff I was seeing there... hopefully, this is a one time step for you and you can move forward ...
