She's pretty clean. Kind of a shame someone rechambered it, but I do really like the 300WBY.

Had to run to town for a bit, so I got sidetracked. I'm going to start working on it now and the bedding will be done by tomorrow. Yep AK, it has those fibers you are talking about. Respirator and safety glasses time!!! I'll throw the rifle on the scale when I get it done. I don't expect it to be as light as my 338wm because that rifle has fwt btm metal and probably a skinnier barrel without the dog not. Oh yeah, someone bid on the original wood stock, so it's guaranteed to sell for $250. I think it will go closer to $300, but we will see. Nice that it offsets the price I paid for the Brown. I'll keep you guys posted..
