BigDave39355: As a child (in the 1950's) I remember buying "Cherry Bombs" - do they still sell those these days?
I remember they really blew stuff up.

Yep. We bought cherry bombs and M-80 silver salutes by the gross. Lots of fun for us, not so much for the neighbors 😳
