buy a used Winchester classic in 375 H&H ($1,200)
22 oz Bansner stock ($450)
stainless (sporter contour) barrel by Lilja Benchmark etc ($380)
Then use the remaining funds to pay someone to chamber it and bed it and end up with a rifle that would shoot in the 0.2's/.3's and weigh 6.5 lbs.
Pretty easy decision. Though I do like Kimbers.
You will have a tough time making that weight using a model 70. I’d figure 7 pounds. But aside from the hair split, that would be a nice way to go.
