I found it amusing how the guy who designed and ordered the 700 NE made multiple reference to H&H staff disrespecting Americans. He being the only American in the room. I agree it was stupid for H&H to build the last 600H&H with an agree not to make any more. They must have neeed the money? I think, I read that buyer was an American. You see a pattern yet? So this guy took a prototype 700 rifle to Africa and killed an elephant with a heart shot. That is easily done with a 375H&H an AFAIK even a 30-06 220 FMJ will make heart shots on elephant. Maybe now, we see a pattern here? I read something like a dozen more 700's have been sold by H&H. I bet they were sold to American's. Do we finally see a pattern here?
I am all for fantasy guns. But a fantasy should not be a national embarrassment.
