The SST bullets came out about.15 years ago. I sincerely doubt that any Seconds purchased from Midway during the past few years would be of any early run of SST bullets simply due to both Hornady's and Midway's relatively fast inventory turnover.
If those slugs were in some dusty old box or bag or bag you bought from some small out of the way Gun shop ,I could believe it was possible. But not from Midway.
One way you can see for sure is section a bullet and see how thick the jackets are.
Frankly, unless you are going to slap them on shoulders at close ranges or take raking shots , even the early SSTs would be fine for lung shots.
