I've never been able to understand hoarding junk. There's a house in the hills near us with stacks of old hot tubs, junk cars, and old appliances. It's a real eyesore. What could anyone possibly do with dozens of old hot tubs?
Anyway, there was a range fire there this weekend. It only burned 10 acres and I'm suspicious that it might have been set to eliminate hot tubs. At least the fire crews were able to get it out before it spread. The hills are still green enough to slow it down. If this had happened a month later, it could have become a disaster.
