We do really like it smoked and chopped too. My wife fixes some kind of potatoes not all the way mashed with some cheese added. Pile the meat on top eat with a pickle a pepper and corn bread. Local restaurant serves it that way so that’s where the idea came from.

I picked up 4 briskets during that sale and was thinking of the burger thing in case we ever ran out of venison. Looked up the fat percentage of brisket and it is roughly 14-17%. Should be perfect for burger.


My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
