Well I bought the ammo on sale from Dunham's where I used to work. They buy a lot of seconds and insurance claims and damaged stuff for resale so it wouldn't surprise me if the ammo was somehow subpar to begin with.
Had countless arguments with customers and suppliers until someone let it slip that they were buying rejects and insurance claim items and selling them as new but without warranty or support from the manufacturers.
Pretty shady. Suddenly all the weird claims customers made and the strange answers we got from suppliers made perfect sense.
