Wouldn't the Navy carrier pilots escorting that plane want to take a few shots at it themselves before the Chicoms got into range? If China was stupid enouth to actually launch a bunch of interceptors, I can forsee a whole aircraft carrier squadron saying "Go ahead- - - - -make my day!"
