My guess would be exactly the same reason a group of 2k poor people,
with nothing but a brand new back pack, walk the length of a continent,
And arrive with reasonably clean clothes and shoes. Not looking
as scruffy as I do at quitting time. No one seems beat flat, hungry,
thirsty...
