My ancient Hodgdon Manual shows 73.0 gr H870 as max for the .264 Win / 140 gr combo.
Wondering if any of you old timers ever used H450. Must have been some sort of pull down military powder.
I licked H 450. Seemed to be the ball version of H 4831. My old Lyman 55 dropped it pretty close.
I avoid discontinued powders. Go to the trouble of developing a load and then you run short on powder.
