Maybe so, maybe so. Since the dawn of time monarchs have made hard decisions to preserve the royal lines. I never gave a hoot in hell about the royals as long as someone else was paying their bills, but if Princess Di did half the schidt she was accused of, dragging the royal reputation into the gutter in the process...I'd see where she would be expendable. But with the dignity the Queen showed over nearly a century, I think they would have found a way to send Di off to a private sanatorium until she recovered her mental stability or learned to knit.
