Was testing a few over at the range yesterday... didn't have much problem ringing Steel at 300 yds, with a scope with marks for out to 500 yds... with the 243 and the 90 grainer... I just had to look down to the 200 marking to ring the steel target... that is plenty good for a blacktail...
