If being picky means expecting a restaurant touting themselves as being authentic X and serves up T, L and Y, then I'm definitely guilty. It's like walking into, say, a place calling itself an Italian bistrot only to find out it's actually a crummy pizza joint that only sells calzones and slices? Maybe a place that claims to be an authentic NY style Jewish deli that actually is a cheese ball sub shop specializing in maple glazed hams in their Italian subs? A Vietnamese pho joint that actually only does pancakes and waffles? That's kind of where I am on phony ethnic foods. But then again, I doubt anyone who eats there knows the difference, so there's that. wink

Didn't see unagi on the menu. That's a kind of snake, right?
