That is a Burris Fastfire.

Yes it will handle the 270 grain, 900 FPS loads fine, as I have been using it for T&E purposes for a while now, and have had zero issues.

That said, if I was looking to purchase one today, I would opt for a Holosun or Trijicon RMR, both of which have good track record on guns that see a lot of use.
