That sounds like a nice field gun for sure! On the 20 gauge frame Ii have always preferred a 26" barrel and pistol grip type stock. I had one of those 1187 Special Field straight stock 23" barrel jobs that felt good in the store. But I couldn't hit squat with that shotgun.
