Yes, there is a Winchester 670A. I have a Win 670A in 30-06.

I'm told that the difference between the M70 and 670/670A is that the 670/670A has a cheaper stock with a blind magazine.

Some people say that the 670/670A are not as accurate as the M70 and that is complete BULL. Last weekend I had mine out and the first 2 shots I fired grouped .455 inches at 100 yds. I pulled the third shot but the total 3 shot group size was 1.08 inches. These are handloads using 55.5 gr IMR 4350 and 165 gr Sierra GameKings.

I would not hesitate to get another 670/670A if the gun and barrel are in good condition.
